In October 2013, our founding members attended a TNBA Doubles Tournament in Virginia that left us asking why isn’t there a club in the Triad that travels to tournaments and how do we create one? The only answer was to create a club of our own. The first tournament for our fledgling organization was the Virginia State Mix Doubles Tournament, in February 2014. We found twenty people who were willing to take a chance on this club idea and as a result, we entered five teams, three of which placed. From there, we decided to make it official. Now we have increasing membership roles that allow us to travel to bowl across four states and beyond.
